The sun model used in the FET has the sun circling over the earth, traveling back and forth between the tropics of cancer and capricorn for summer in the north and south. Unfortunately that model violates Newton'd first law of motion. "An object at rest stays at rest and an object in motion stays in motion unless acted upon by an unbalanced force.
The sun changing it's direction twice a year is not possible without an unbalanced force, but no such force exists so the model violates Newtons first law of motion and thus that model of the sun is not valid.
