So I have come along this topic, and I find it pretty hard to out challenge. A navigator put me this argument about distance on a sphere is shorter due to curve than on a flat map. Therefore they use the 'great circle navigation' application. I've wrapped my mind to find an argument challenging this. But first off all it's difficult doing research after the FE censorship. When you tell people today to do their own research on YouTube, they will come out as even bigger globe believers as prior. Any way, does anyway here have some answers on references that I can research for this topic ?
