Hi forum members. I am a neophyte to the flat earth model. I have been doing extensive research for the past two weeks but have not yet found an answer to a problem I have encountered. I was viewing a YouTube video that the person said there were no commercial flights in the southern hemisphere. There may be some of you that disagree with this person's view on this. I assume the person meant there were no commercial flights well below the south tips of Africa, South America, and also below Australia. Correct me if I am wrong. Going on. I found a flight out of Sidney, Australia on its way to Johannesburg, South Africa on www.flightradar24.com/data/airports/JNB. I checked out the information on the flight and it gave the flight mileage and time to fly from Sidney to Johannesburg. I use Google Earth to entertain myself as a world traveler since I cannot afford to do it in real life. I used Google Earth's mileage ruler and marked a line from the Tambo International Airport in Sidney to the FAOR airport in Johannesburg realizing I was working from a round earth model. The mileage was exactly the same as the flight information that had been given on www.flightradar24.com/data/airports/JNB. I then did this same mileage marking using the flat earth model. The distance was at least double in mileage for the same flight. Can someone explain this anomaly? In the past two weeks, I have been more and more convinced we are probably living on a flat earth, but this flight out of Sidney has really caused me a problem. Does anyone have a rational answer to this dilemma? Thanks for your help.

Hi Kittyhawk and Welcome to the growing number of independent thinkers, researchers and visionaries who are exploring this most fascinating topic of whether we live on a flat level plane or a round spinning sphere traveling at ridiculous speeds throughout the galaxy. It was just one year ago this week I started the first ever Flat Earth Website: Aplanetruth.info. You can possibly find answers to many of your questions there as well. aplanetruth.info/2015/07/12/flat-plane-truth-long-distance-air-travel/It also helps to learn of how the Great Hoax has been carried out since the days of Copernicious, by the Jesuits and the Vatican as a grand deception to take our great importance as human beings in the Cosmos where we are centered and literally, the Sun, MOon, and stars revolve around us all. aplanetruth.info/2015/11/29/chronology-of-500-year-jesuit-deception-and-flat-earth/aplanetruth.info/2015/11/10/the-jesuits-owners-of-the-500-yr-old-flat-earth-con-piracy/Like NASA being able to pull of such a Grand Hoax since 1958, it simply looks like flights are scheduled on booking sites, yet when people have tried to actually travel on these direct routes, the flight does not exist or they are rerouted along regular stops, and apparently, there are NO Direct routes. There are NO commercial Flights from Santiago to Sydney. There are NO commercial Shipping Routes from South America to Sydney/New Zealand. There are NO commercial under-sea cables from South America to Sydney/New Zealand Keep questioning and discovering. I suggest to get familiar with the library sections and all the great works of Rowbotham, Hickson, Lady Blount, David Wardlaw Scott and Flat Earth Conspiracy by Eric Dubay, which condenses much of their work in his book. Hope this helps.

Thank you for taking the time to answer my question. I had not considered bogus flights to make it look like actual flights were being made. Thank you again for your answer. I now have another rabbit to chase. kh63

Yes bogus flights. I worked in travel for many years mainly on round the world flights from UK down to Australia and back. These were normally out via far East and back via pacific and USA or vice versa. Africa rarely figured as you couldn't actually book the flights from there to Australia even though they were published fares. Similarly South America could only be routed via LAX or SFO if coming from Australia or NZ. It never made sense. Does now
